In the first forms of life, it is difficult to distinguish between
animal and plant forms, in fact, the first forms of the
the qualities of both. But as we advance in the scale, it is a bit
seen decided to "shoot", and a large branch is made up of the
evolution of plant forms and other developments in animal forms.

The factory-branch begins with the sea weeds, and goes on mushrooms,
lichens, mosses, ferns, pines and palm trees, ferns, grasses, etc., then
trees, shrubs and grasses. The animal starts with the industry
_monera_, or single-cell forms, which are a little more than a drop of
sticky, glue like protoplasm. Then he moves to the _amoebae_, which
begins to show a slight difference of its parts. Then, on the
_foraminifera_, which secretes a shell limestone water.

Then, on a step above the _polycystina_, which secretes a shell or skeleton
flint, as the material of the water. Then there are the sponges. Then the
animals coral, anemones and jelly fish. Then come the sea lilies,
star fish, etc. Then the different families of worms.

Then, crabs, spiders, thousand insects. Followed by molluscs, which include
oysters, clams and other shellfish, snails, cuttle fish, jets from the sea,
etc. All these families are animal forms what is called
"invertebrate" is without a backbone.

Then we come to the vertebrates, or animals with a backbone. First
we see the family of fish, with its thousands of forms. Then come the
amphibians, including toads, frogs, etc. Then come the reptiles,
which include snakes, lizards, crocodiles, turtles, etc.

Then the family of birds, with its wonderful variety of forms,
sizes and characteristics. Then came the mammals, whose name
comes from the Latin word meaning "breast," the characteristic of
group is that they feed their children with milk,
or other fluids secreted by the mother. The mammals are the highest
form of vertebrates.

Prime among mammals is the aplacentals, or those who
Following immature young people who are grouped into two divisions, _i.e_., (1)
the _monotremes_ or a vent, animals in which group owns the
duck beaks, spiny ant-eaters, etc., and (2) _marsupials_ or
pocket animals, which belong to the group of kangaroos, opossums, etc.

The highest form of mammals, are known as _placentals_,
or those who put forth the maturity of young people. In this category are the
ant-eaters, laziness, manatees, whales and porpoises, horse, cow,
sheep and other ungulates, elephants, seals, dogs, wolves,
lion, tiger, and all animals to eat the flesh, rabbits, rats, mice and
all other animals gnawing, bats, moles, and other insects feeding;
Then came the great family of monkeys, the monkeys
orangutan, chimpanzee, and other forms closely approach humans.

And then comes the highest, man, the Kaffir, Bush-man, Cave-man,

our race is reached.
